I’m in love with this commercial because it confirms my suspicions that people of truly great taste prefer the stomach-cancer-inducing effervescence of diet coke. Also, I’m almost positive that Colicchio and Achatz are ‘friends’ and that this was not meant as derrogatory to Achatz in any way. I think it’s more of a jibe at people who try to mimic Alinea but with no regard to taste. I’m not sure, but I am sure in love with Diet Coke.
