There’s a current backlash against bottled water in some circles, but how can any design junkie resist the sleek, elegant shape of the Evian Palace Bottle? (I couldn’t help falling in love with its bold, minimal simplicity during an eight-hour Top Chef marathon — that’s some good product placement there.) The luxe packaging is fit for a king — each bottle comes with a mirror-shiny stainless steel coaster and pourer, transforming the vessel into a lovely decanter. You’ll probably need to open the king’s coffers for these, too; they’re $15-$20 a piece and are only available at high-end restaurants, hotels, and clubs.
I was surprised to learn that these beautiful bottles are made of PET, not glass, which diminishes their poshness a bit for me. Plastic is so not sexy. Even if I did have $20 to shell out on plain old water, I’d rather go with the standard Evian glass bottle like the one the mermaid is holding.

There is no more coaster available on the market. But the pourer is still available.
