Our favorite food and travel raconteur Anthony Bourdain has filmed a holiday episode of No Reservations with rockers Queens of the Stone Age. (I personally would’ve chosen a cooler band like, say, Iggy and the Stooges. But as one astute rollingstone.com reader pointed out, this is “much better than the ill-fated Emeril and King Diamond Kwanzaa project”, so I’m not gonna complain.)
The episode involves Mr. Bourdain cooking a traditional holiday dinner while QotSA rocks out in the basement, and if the picture to the left is indicative of what happens in the show, we’re in for a real treat.
The band struts their stuff in lovely Christmas sweaters Anthony describes as “just the most terrifying things I’ve ever seen in my life. Beyond Sandra Lee on some really awful hallucinogen.”
Now that would be a really interesting holiday special.

This I gotta see. That is a mighty fine applique’d sweater!
Hey, I’d pay good money to see an Emeril and King Diamond Kwanzaa project!
